Hope of The Nation!

“I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.  I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him”
  ~Abraham Lincoln

Filipinos oftenly call themselves “Pilipino lang kasi!” there’s always a connotation that foreigners or any man coming from other country is better than them, for example, when buying products such as shoes, shirts, belts and others, they always prefer to buy expensive and imported ones than cheaper and made by our own compatriot, disregarding the fact that instead of helping to have progress in our country, we are tolerating  the act of colonial mentality among our countrymen, we are all responsible to have change in the land of the brownmen, each one is a part of a society wherein patriotism and nationalistic way of living should be reestablished especially in the mind of our future leaders, the hope of the nation, the “youth”!

Loving, serving and honoring the place where we came from is next to development and could answer most of the problems that we encounter in the present situation, there is still hope, there is still a chance, and the chance is in the hand of the next people who will handle and lead us to a better world of love, peace and most importantly, progress. Leaders who respect the national symbolisms, the archipelago and has a big heart to share his talent and expertise in the field of leading, but is an effective leader enough to achieve the common goal? A good leader must be accompanied with cooperative followers, with a common thought and understanding, and with a common target that will lead to a better, stronger and bonded brotherhood of brownman, as well as individual initiative towards team effort.

Youth is not an escape to responsibilities; it is our training ground who dares to be a responsible citizen of this nation that should begin, now!

Social awareness and love for country is the key for the youth to realize their responsibilities as part of this growing brotherhood, even though they’re exposed with those people who have low expectations regarding our society, they will still have a burning heart to bring change if we will open their eyes and help them see who has to be prioritize, and that’s our beloved land, the home of indominable spirit and heroic will of passion to bring back the glory to our people.

“KABATAAN ang PAG-ASA  ng BAYAN” as what Gat Jose P. Rizal said, the youth is the hope of the nation and the key as we open the door of that magical word “success”, but who would hold the key? Who would help the youth, the answer are their mentors, their superiors who have gathered wisdom as they pass through the roads of undying learnings and experiences, the elders who will guide them will serve as the light and the path while the youth will serve as the stamina and the power.

With proper cooperation, wisdom and education, the hindrances towards success could easily be eliminated as we walk on our journey to a betterland!
